1. Who we are

2. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern the use of the website and the purchase of TAPTICS products and services. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept them, together with the Privacy policy, the Returns and warranty policy and the Shipping policy. To buy, you must be of legal age and able to enter into contracts.

Our products are designed for businesses. If you buy as a consumer, you also have all the rights granted to you by law, which no clause in these terms limits.

3. Products and included service

TAPTICS sells plates with NFC technology and a QR code that redirect to your business’s Google review page and/or your Instagram profile. The purchase includes the redirection service and access to the management dashboard (app.taptics.eu) with no monthly fees.

The features of each product (functions, battery, lighting, compatibility) are described on its product page. Colours may vary slightly from how they appear on your screen. NFC requires an NFC-compatible phone; otherwise, the QR code can be used.

If we ever had to stop providing the redirection service, we will give you reasonable notice and explain how you can keep using your plate.

4. Proper use of the plate

You are responsible for setting up the plate with your own business’s links and for using it in accordance with the law and with Google’s and Instagram’s policies. In particular, you must not offer incentives in exchange for reviews, ask only satisfied customers for reviews, or prevent or discourage negative reviews. TAPTICS does not control and is not responsible for the content of reviews posted by your customers or for any decisions Google or Instagram make about your listing or profile.

Your dashboard login details (email and password) are personal: keep them safe and let us know if you think someone has used them without your permission.

5. Purchase process

To buy, add products to your cart, enter your details and payment method at checkout, and confirm your order. Before confirming, you can review and correct your details. After your purchase you will receive a confirmation email summarising your order, which serves as your receipt. The contract is concluded in Spanish; this translation is provided for information.

We may refuse or cancel an order for justified reasons, such as lack of stock, an obvious pricing error or signs of fraud. In that case we will let you know and refund any amount paid.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include VAT. Quantity discounts are applied automatically in the cart. Shipping to the countries listed in the Shipping policy is free. The applicable price is the one in force when you place your order.

The available payment methods are shown at checkout. Card payments are processed by secure payment providers; TAPTICS does not store your card details.

7. Shipping and delivery

Delivery times and countries are listed in the Shipping policy. We will deliver your order within a maximum of 30 calendar days from purchase. TAPTICS bears the risk of loss or damage to the product until you receive it.

8. Withdrawal and warranty

If you are a consumer, you have 14 calendar days from receipt to withdraw from your purchase, and all products come with the 3-year legal guarantee of conformity. The conditions, exceptions and withdrawal form are set out in the Returns and warranty policy.

9. Liability

TAPTICS is responsible for the proper functioning of its products and service as provided by law. We are not liable for failures caused by misuse of the plate, tampering by third parties, problems with the customer’s phone, or changes, outages or decisions by third-party services such as Google or Instagram. If you buy as a business, our total liability for an order is limited to the amount paid for it, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in this section limits consumers’ rights.

10. Intellectual property

The texts, images, videos, designs and trademarks on this website belong to TAPTICS or are used under licence. You may not copy them or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission. Google and Instagram are trademarks of their respective owners; TAPTICS is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by them.

11. Reviews and feedback

If you send us reviews or feedback about our products, we may publish them on our website and social media, identifying you only by the name you allow us to use. You must be the author of what you send and it must reflect a genuine experience.

12. Relationship with Shopify

TAPTICS is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our shop are made directly with TAPTICS. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of the sales between you and TAPTICS, including any injury, damage or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with TAPTICS.

13. Privacy

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy policy. Some information may be processed by Shopify in accordance with its privacy policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect legal or service changes. Each order is governed by the version in force at the time of purchase.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence. If you buy as a business, the parties submit to the courts of Girona (Spain).
